house mouse | community art space
For all of us who wanted to get into pottery without committing to an 8 week 400$ class package, this community art space is just the ticket. They offer wheel throwing and hand building opportunities, but also stained glass and mask making classes, sun printing, linocut, hand sewing, fermentation workshops, local art shows, the list goes on. It’s all very affordable and doesn’t require a huge time commitment. Plus it’s in the heart of Virgil Village, so make a day of it!
Now Serving
It’s a cook book store in the heart of LA’s Chinatown! They also sell some knives and aprons and the like, but the real emphasis is on food writing — recipe books, esoteric food magazines and zines, culinary criticism, author events.
Solidarity Onesie
The best baby gift out there! Designed by Minneapolis-based artist/activist Ricardo Levins Morales and printed and shipped by the worker members of Worx Printing Coop.
