My Rec League Starter Pack

Long Vacation

Stuck at home with a cold? Perfect opportunity to watch a wonderfully quirky 90s Japanese rom-com - how about Loooong Vacation? Great outfits, good music, and perfect balance of laughs, tears, and twists. At only 11 episodes, it’ll leave you wanting more. Isn’t that just how all good things go?

Dazzle Dry Nail Polish

Is the branding super interesting? Not particularly. Is the product incredible? Absolutely. Been using this nail polish system for about 3 years now and I WILL NOT QUIT. Dries fully in five minutes - need I say more? Okay I will… it lasts for weeks and looks like gel. I don’t know what chemicals are in there making it possible and frankly I don’t give a damn.

Wingspan

If you’re ready to buckle down for a couple hours of complex (but not extremely competitive) game play, then this is the game for you. It had me at “birdfeeder dice tower” and hasn’t lost me since. My preferred way to play with friends is at a brewery (preferably a spacious one with big tables) with a beer in hand.

Hues and Cues

I call this game the Apples to Apples (did we all play that in college? just me?) of colors. Describing colors is more tricky than you might anticipate and makes for a fun evening of words like “midnight grape” or “rave vomit”.
