Joshua McFadden’s Six Seasons of pasta
I’ve been in a cooking rut and this cookbook got me out of it. It’s even more fun gathering the ingredients from my backyard!

Printing photos and making a collage on your fridge
I’ve started printing the photos I take on my phone or with film and rotating them on my fridge. I love seeing faces of friends who live far, my family, memories w graham, food I ate, flowers I saw. I feel like we mindlessly snap photos these days and having them tangible and being selective with what I print is really satisfying.

Planting sunflowers
Mine are fading, but pictured below is a bouquet from a week or two ago. I planted a variety this year-brown, red, teddy bear- they are so pretty. They are so dramatic and get pollen everywhere but they make me so happy.

Dinner in - but fancy
I love going out, but I’ve loved cooking in + with really nice ingredients maybe more lately. Farmers markets and fancy grocery stores (shout out to providore in PDX) make it such an experience. Today is going to be next level because we foraged chanterelles!
