LISTERS: A Glimpse Into Extreme Birdwatching
Two brothers, a van, some cameras and a mission to see as many birds as they can in the space of one year. It's a documentary (that they've made free to watch on YouTube!) about the world of birding, something I did not think I would care about. It's charming, informative and clearly made with a lot of love.
Orbital – Samantha Harvey
This book may look slight (coming in at only 144 pages), but it packs such a punch. About a team of astronauts orbiting Earth in an international space station, the prose is dense, poetic and rich with observations about humanity.
