the best place in silver lake to grab a coffee (the seasonal drinks HIT and not in a cheesy way) and post up in one of the funky beach chairs on the sidewalk outside. 10/10 people watching, and friendly baristas. get the vienna espresso (dare i say better than maru’s cream top?)

The Laundromat

a pizzeria that doubles as a bagel shop in the mornings what more could you want?! the bagels are still warm if you get there early enough, and you rip and dip them into a tub of cream cheese. afterwards, pop over to andytown for a coffee and walk along ocean beach.

The Marigny Natural Wines

this is the wine i want to be holding when i stroll up to a friend’s dinner party on a warm spring evening. we’ll laugh so hard we cry, eat bowlfuls of pasta from alison roman, and dissect all the hot goss. silver lake wines usually stocks at least a few bottles!

impeccable pizzas (fermentation is their thing) and natural wine what more could you want!! gra is truly a perfect restaurant to me. their dimly lit bathrooms are also great for snapping a quick outfit pic.
