Rollbahn notebook
Finally! A notebook that makes journaling more delightful for me. It's by a 40-year-old Japanese stationery company, so you know the paper quality is legit. The metal spiral binding means you'll always write on a flat page. Pages are perforated. There are little folders in the back where I keep paper-based mementos. The best part: it's slightly whimsical. Not surprising considering Rollbahn is a Japanese brand masquerading as a German one. The word "rollbahn" is German for "runway" or "taxiway." And the phrases on the front of the notebook are more for looks than meaning. If you translate the cover phrases from German to English, you get: — distant journeys make you wise — the propellers turn — the airplane gains altitude — traveling means living
