Penhaligon’s The Coveted Duchess Rose
My husband gave me this perfume as an engagement present and it’s the perfect musky rose scent with a hint of citrus. The portrait bottles are also beautiful. Top Note: Mandarin Orange Heart Notes: Rose Centifolia, Damascene Rose Base Notes: Musky Wood, Vanilla
Chanel CHANCE
Gifted to me by my mother in law, I reach for it pretty much every day, it’s gorgeous. Top Notes: Pink Pepper Heart Notes: Jasmine, Iris Base Notes: Amber Patchouli, Musk, Vanilla
Coraline (2009)
100/10, this film is one of my favourites. The attention to detail in the stop motion of every frame is so brilliant. There really is nothing like Coraline, in execution or in concept, it’s one of a kind and I love it for everything it is. Henry Selick’s magnum opus.
The Maker (2011)
One of the most beautiful short films I’ve ever seen. I first watched it when I was very young and it left such an impression on me, I even wanted to make one of my own dolls from scratch. Every detail of this is brilliant and the soundtrack is truly gorgeous.
