Dust-to-Digital Radio
If you are familiar with the label Dust to Digital you know that since 1999 the have been restoring, preserving, and publishing rare, historic, and hard-to-access audio recordings (frequently from the 78 RPM era), spanning blues, gospel, folk, country, and international music traditions. In 2025 they launched an app that plays ad free music 24/7 from their catalog along with other music of interest. If you are someone who listens to music of all kinds with an open heart and open ears, this is a must listen. Since discovering it, I listen for at least a few hours a day. It’s a true treasure.
Marmo
Marmo is a very sweet cafe, sundry store, gallery and community space in Shelton, WA. It’s a lovely place to for brunch, nicely curated pantry staples, books and art events. It’s worth it to go out of your way to spend some time there.
