Minicoton Handle Bag

After moving to Spain and giving birth, I saw this bag brand everywhere and immediately knew it was good stuff. Pricey if you’ve exhausted your registry list, but it’s great quality, lined with a tasteful waterproof fabric, and has ample room for all the miscellaneous things you end up tossing in it. The prints and color combos are also lovely and lux.

Living in Spain, I have become addicted to Abacus for the sticker selection. I especially love these Apli gomets because I make sketchbook pages with them or cover wrapped gifts with them.

The best pen

I know this is a bold statement to make. The OHTO Rays Dry Gel pen has been my favorite pen since I discovered it at a now-closed stationary shop in Brooklyn. It is smooth and makes me feel responsible when I use it. I was so sad when I lost my first one that I bought one in every color and assigned each a designated location: my office, my kitchen, my bag, the draw that has my envelopes and checks to pay monthly rent to my money-laundering landlord.

As a designer, this mouse has not only made working so much more comfortable by eliminating hand cramps, but it helps me to have a dedicated work station rather than rotting on the couch with my laptop. I refuse to work without it because you can customize its buttons and scroll wheels with shortcuts to suite your preferences without moving your hand a centimeter.
