Embracing your natural gray hair
I dyed my hair until I was 32. One day gray hair came up in conversation at work, and I said, “I’m about 80% grey.” The co-director of the arts centre, encouraged me to stop dying it, and said; “come with me.” We walked to the salon next door and he pointed to the owner’s wife, and said “you could have that.” She was a beautiful woman with short gray hair. I got an undercut and the trimmed back the upper dyed parts for about 8 months. Since then I get daily compliments, but also low hair fees.

This simple movement practice is ideal for when you feel disconnected from your body or find yourself in overthinking mode. I personally like this one during transition times (new jobs, new projects, rethinking my life) because it moves me away from analysis and fear and more into my body. I do this dance daily, I set up my tea pot and set a timer for 10 minutes. I dance for 10 minutes, pause to turn the stove on, and then dance for another 10. I get my final gesture and that guides me day. Then I drink tea.
