Croteaux rosè wine
Stumbled upon Croteaux while exploring the North Fork of Long Island and loved it instantly. It’s the only vineyard in the U.S. dedicated solely to rosé, and they make some of the crispest, driest, smoothest rosés I’ve had. Beautiful setting, charming atmosphere, and still feels like a bit of a hidden gem.
Summer Friday Lip butter balm Vanilla- Sheer clear
Hands down one of the best lip balms I’ve used. It wears beautifully under lipstick, but I also love using it on top for that clear, juicy, hydrated sheen without needing a separate gloss or lip oil. It basically gives you the comfort of a balm with the finish of a gloss, minus the stickiness. I usually reapply every 3–4 hours, but a full-size tube still lasted me close to a year, so I found it really worth it.
Makeup by Mario lip pencil- Rich Mauve
I love using this to softly outline and tint my lips, then topping it with balm for a clean, hydrated, my-lips-but-better look. It feels light, lasts well, and gives definition and color without the dryness, constant reapplying, or transfer of most lipsticks (esp on wine glasses, iykyk) I was never into lip pencils before this one, but now I get the hype. Easy, flattering, polished, I’ll definitely be buying more shades.
Sant Ambroeus in Main St, Hamptons
A dip in the sea followed by dim lighting, good wine and comforting pasta is my idea of a perfect evening. Sant Ambroeus delivered on all three. The little alleyways made it feel like we’d stumbled into a corner of Italy. There were four of us, so I got to try several pastas, and every one deserved another forkful. The wine was crisp and smooth, the service was excellent, and the warm bread deserves its own fan club. Soft inside, slightly crusty at the edges, an immediate 10/10. I knew we’d chosen well before the pasta even arrived. Such a lovely place to dine in, and absolutely one I’d return to for date night.
