Somehow sprawling but intimate, this is a beautiful story set in Florence. One of my favourite books of the last couple of years!

A perfect series based on the book (which I am yet to read). I’ve not really taken to other ‘spin-offs’ of Pride & Prejudice, but this one just hits. Beautifully acted and written - hopefully another season is in the offing! Streamed on Stan in Australia.

Olive oil chocolate cake (gluten free)

This is a STAPLE in this house. Super easy and I usually don’t bother with icing it because I am lazy. It is chocolatey and moist and lasts for a few days on the counter (unless I eat it all before then).

Crodino Aperitivo

The perfect NA spritz - slightly bitter so it doesn’t feel like you are just chugging soft drink (the biggest bummer for non-alc drinkers like me). Available lots of places here in Melbourne, including Dan Murphy’s.
