on the calculation of volume
the first book in a septology, on the calculation of volume is about a woman trapped in november 18th. we meet her after the initial shock has worn away and she begins trying to figure out what to do with herself. each book in the series (so far) feels different and the further in i get the more i need to know.
byblos le petit cafe
we went on a sunday and got the dizzy and it was truly one of the best meals i've ever had. everyone who works there was so nice and the setting is very warm and welcoming. itching to go back and try their brunch!
Wisecrack by Haley Blais
a no skips album for me—perfect blend of slow and loud, bop and introspective. would love to listen with the windows down, admiring the foliage, and thinkin about stuff.
custom matchboxes
you can spend like 10 minutes on canva making a design (or sometimes direct from whichever place you’re ordering from) for something personal. i ordered through vistaprint and 25 matchbooks was within our secret santa budget of $20. pair with a candle or little dish for display for a fancier gift.
