Northern California Tidelog
My grandma would use her Tide Log as her personal date book, to plan her walks on the beach, and I’m sure for astrological purposes as well. Each day has a beautiful visual chart with the tide (you order a log for your region), sunrise and sunset, and moon phase.
Her Red Garden Clogs
For going out to weed or pick rose hips.
Learning by Heart (Corita Kent & Jan Steward)
Corita Kent (amazing art instructor, artist at Immaculate Heart University), and her co-author Jan Steward encapsulate her art-teaching/making philosophy in this beautifully designed book. An inspiring read not just for art teachers, but for all creatives.
