The Best Everyday White Tee
I consider myself something of a white T-shirt connoisseur, and this is, without question, the best everyday white tee I’ve found. Great collar, good weight, perfect length, actually holds up, and a very reasonable price point, especially considering my cost per wear. It is firmly part of my daily uniform. For reference, I’m 5’11” with a pretty normal torso length (verging on short-ish). It’s ever so slightly cropped on me, which is exactly where I want it to hit. I’ve recommended it to friends of all different heights and body types, and so far, everyone loves it.
The Most Flattering Jeans
Specifically in the Rolling in the Dough wash. It looks bizarrely blue online, but the wash is perfect in person. The wash matters here because MOTHER changes the denim composition depending on the color. I tried the white version of these and they were completely wrong - different feel, different fit, immediate return. But these? Possibly the most flattering jeans ever created. The fuller shape somehow makes your legs look slimmer, longer, and leaner, while still feeling basically like sweatpants. One sizing note: go down a full size. I am a tried-and-true 27 in basically all denim and needed a 26 in these. They also come in petite, which is a major plus for some of my friends.
Fryksås Chair
This is very cool in person - basically a womb chair in rattan. The shape is great, the rattan feels substantial, and it has that collected, slightly European look that usually costs significantly more. I would make two tweaks: throw a great sheepskin over the back and recover the cushion in something with a little more personality. With those changes, it feels much more layered, interesting, and expensive. A really good IKEA piece if you’re willing to style it a bit.
Kids Art Table
Do not get duped into buying a more expensive kids table than this one. It’s the perfect height for little kids, sturdy, simple, and has storage bins underneath for art supplies, toys, Play-Doh, whatever you need to hide. Be sure to order the TROFAST storage boxes as well.
