My Rec League Starter Pack

Lonesome Dove

Cowboys, Indians, but mostly all the little things that make life hard and so worth loving. The nuance of friendship, love and how to show it, regret. It’s loved for a reason. Read it.

Roy Moore Lobster Co

Lobster is overrated but somehow underrated here. No fuss lobster and seafood stand sitting in the sandy bay of Rockport MA. No gimmicks no nonsense just lobster and seafood how it should be. Once you eat here you’ll want every seafood joint to feel like this.

Field Mag

Marathon des Sables is something I tell myself I’ll do one day (I won’t), but the latest issue goes through what the experience is like with some great photography. They feature brands I’ve never heard of and just have a really good eye for whats worth putting on a page. It checks a lot of boxes for me. Imagine if Outside and National Geographic had a brainiac child who also dabbles in Pinterest.

Microtech UTX-70

A little absurd but these things rock. Tiny, expensive, and wildly over engineered. The blade shoots out the front with a button and back in with another, which is badass. If you have a strange affinity for blades like I do, get one and feel like Al Capone / luke Skywalker.Lost mine, sadly, but they have a new gen IV which looks even better.
