Nablus Soap

Nablus soap made in Palestine for over a thousand years. Marco Polo himself said it was the best soap in the Levant. (The perfect stocking stuffer for the historian in your life!) Can confirm, it is the best possible soap.

Phase Shift by Angela Lane

hands down my favorite living painter - this is astonishing in person. not only does the brushwork defy all attempts to understand its construction (recalling, for me, raffaele monti's veiled vestal virgin), she's also working with afterimages in such a way that staring at the sun creates a blue light that dances around it, like solar flares on the chromosphere.

Ikigai

Does it align with your Ikigai? From Wikipedia: Ikigai (生き甲斐, lit. 'a reason for being') is a Japanese concept of an individual's definition of the meaning of their life. Ikigai can be having a sense of purpose in life, as well as being a source of motivation. According to a study by Michiko Kumano, feeling ikigai as described in Japanese is usually the sense of accomplishment and fulfillment that follows when people pursue their passions. Activities that generate the feeling of ikigai are not imposed on an individual; they are perceived as spontaneous and undertaken willingly, making them personal and dependent on a person's inner self.
