Beeswax Pillar Candles
I love a beeswax pillar candle to create a cozy vibe on my nightstand while I read myself to sleep 😴 I first learned about the power of candlelight and anti-LED discourse through an episode of Binchtopia, which I'll recommend separately, but the main point being the visual flickers of LEDs can be detected by our brains. Candles provide "smooth" light that doesn't attempt to mimic daylight, which is beneficial to the wind down process our brains require for sleep. And they look cool. And I can be annoying about it. Everyone should get beeswax pillars.
Rhodia No. 16 Blank Pad
This paper is smooth as butter and doesn’t bleed! I’m a calligrapher so I can be a real snob. Cost effective too! Best for ink and artwork.
Kaweco Fountain Pens
These fountain pens are not only stunning, but carefully weighted and designed with fragile hands in mind. As an avid handwritten note enthusiast, I know a good pen when I see one. I first picked one of these up from a small stationery shop in Boston. They come in beautiful colors and have a wide selection of interchangeable ink colors. If that’s not enough of a sell, they even come in ballpoint and pencil options. Now THAT’s the power of German engineering.
