I’ve put it off because the issue is so central to our family and feels high stakes. I have much to say but must put it succinctly and get it right. So this is a placeholder for now! I will say I wish Trupanion did human insurance; we are legit envious of the medical care it opens up for our dogs (we are 4 dogs deep now, 2 in this realm and two in The Beyond). Moxa for mosquito bites

Life changing for me as a mosquito magnet who is also allergic to bites. If I catch the bite right away, I can prevent itchiness altogether. If the bite is already itchy/swollen 1-2 moxa treatments per day resolves the problem 3x faster. Hover the lit moxa .5-1” over the bite until the heat/itch sensation rise to the most you can reasonably/safely tolerate. Usually about 30 seconds for me. Then wait another 10-30 seconds and do another pass. Repeat 3 times per bite! I always have these at home now. My acupuncturist sells them to me for a couple bucks each.
