Cardigan Mountain
All things considered, reasonably short and easy hike. Tremendous views in all directions, but look at the view of the mountain itself. Isn't that just something else?
Biedermans - Plymouth, NH
This is actually a second generation recommendation. My brother went to Plymouth State, and when I saw I’d be passing thru I asked him what’s the best spot for lunch and he said Biedermans. Great selection of beers. This may have been the best meatball sub I’ve ever had.
Listening to your favorite music
There’s a piece of classical music that I love, but I only listen to it on my birthday. It’s a tradition which has become very dear to me. Maybe find a song or album that means a lot to you, but isn't in your casual rotation, and earmark some time on the b-day for it.
