Circe
Such a rich story based on Greek mythology, written by a classics scholar. Even as someone not specifically into mythology, I absolutely loved Circe’s world and wanted to stay there long after the book was over!

My Friend, Loonie
A children’s book about a girl and her balloon, low key about grief and finding joy again. The main character has two moms, but it’s not mentioned, it’s just so! The illustrations are expressive and gorgeous. This book makes me hopeful for this generation 💗
