Unexpectedly, while already feeling claustrophobic (stuck in a city during a heatwave), reading this sandy drama about being trapped in a hole in the dunes and having to endlessly shovel sand to prevent burial, turned out comforting.

Skin care for me is 90% placebo/escapism/ritual. It's the illusion that I'm taking care of myself that I'm after, rather than the actual potential benefits of the cream itself (although the SPF and the silky feel is a bonus). A sweet self-deception which I recommend.
