We are always playing music around here. The genre changes depending on the vibe or the weather or the occasion but it’s always playing. We have had this Sonos speaker for a while now and it’s the perfect size to fill our house without having to yell over eachother. You can also connect other speakers throughout the house to have a wireless system controlled through the app which is neat.

The love of my life. Not really but kind of. This is my emotional support candle. I periodically buy a batch of these whenever I’m on a trip because they don’t sell them in Alaska. All of the scents are good but the tomato and the olive tree have my heart. So earthy and luxurious.

Not to be dramatic but this woodstove saved my life this winter. As an Alaskan who doesn’t ski… I know… finding an activity that I enjoy while it’s dark and cold majority of the year is important to keep seasonal depression at bay. Learning all about fire building and how woodstoves work was a fun research project but getting a rip roaring fire going and keeping it up while you read or listen to records is unmatched.
