Eden Foods Ume Plum Vinegar

Absolute pantry staple. I put this in basically everything for some extra zip (sauces! salad dressings! sparkling water!) and get itchy if I don’t have a backup bottle stashed in the pantry. According to the Eden Foods website you can also buy this vinegar in gallon bottles, and I’m like … maybe?

No Gods, No Mayors

If you’re not listening to this podcast, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life. Nominally it’s about mayors. In practice, okay, it IS about mayors, but it’s also f’n hilarious and basically the only thing I want to listen to on a long run.

Zenni Optical

We went with Zenni for my six year old’s glasses. They’re cheap enough that we could get multiple pairs to stash at home, school, and in the car, and you can get an optional protection plan for when they inevitably get stepped on. Bonus points for having a large selection of colorful and fun styles in addition to the basics, which is how I learned my kid has the aesthetic taste of Dame Edna.
