Range
Range + Kara have changed my relationship with movement forever. It’s physical/anatomical poetry. It’s ruined much of group fitness, other styles of working out, and the gym at large for me in the best way possible. My dear friend Mikaela reached out to Kara and she recorded a a custom class for my bachelorette. My first DIY project in my new home was designing the spare room into a place I do Range classes in the morning. An in-home gym that feels like a cozy bedroom is what Range deserved!
Happy All The Time by Laurie Colwin
If you’re a lover of all things Sally Rooney, Dolly Alderton, and books like Eleanor Oliphante or the Importance of Being Ernest, add this to your repertoire. The easiest read that feels like you’re just visiting with old friends. This book taught me that everyone’s definition of love and how they want to be loved is different. After reading it I got a strange urge to write a book report…and recommend it to anyone looking for their next read!
Eat more carrot cake
Feels pretty self-explanatory. We should be 2-3xing our carrot cake intakes, just because we can.
Watching America’s Got Talent Auditions
Or Britain’s Got Talent, or X Factor or The Voice… bonus points if you do the golden buzzers. Particularly recommend if you need a good cry or need a light change of pace during a hungover doom-scroll. Particularly recommend Grace Vanderwaal golden buzzers, Tokio Myers, Courtney Hadwin audition, Nightbirde audition, Preacher Lawson, Alex & Sierra “sultry Toxic”, Shin Lim if you’re into magicians.
