Stop Missing Your Life - Cory Muscara
currently reading it for the second time. this book has a way of reminding you it exists when you need it most (which i do at this current point in my life) the way Cory explains finding presence, peace, meditation and self-exploration is like talking to a friend, not like talking to someone who claims to be on a higher ground.
Lush Glory Conditioner
the only way i can describe this is that the scent makes me feel like a forest nymph showering in the rain amongst the trees, moss and wildlife.
yoga.
and i'm not just talking about "oh wow my physical body feels great", i'm talking about LIVING yoga. what it means and what it looks like beyond the mat. disclaimer: i am SO new to this practise, and i have so much to learn. at first, it started simply as a physical practice for me, but when i tell you it has changed my life (dramatic, i know, but trust me), i mean that so deeply. i cried in therapy about my relationship to yoga, in a positive way. here's what i'll leave you with: yoga is the puzzle piece that has been missing, that i've been searching for for a LONG time, that's finally been put into its place.
morning ritual:
no phone/socials for the first couple of hours (if you can). i recently bought a Brick and it's been a HUGE help, very much recommend. coffee + breakfast outside, get sunshine on your face. bonus points if you have a cat that enjoys supervised outdoor enrichment time too. sudoku or any brains puzzle. it really feels like giving your brain its first deep breath of the morning lol some kind of morning movement; a walk, gentle yoga, mat pilates, weight lifting, anything you enjoy. key point: something you enjoy.
