Timeslip daily history challenge
It’s fun to learn a little bit of history every day, even though I usually guess incorrectly! The podcast recommendations are great too. I’ve found a couple of new favourites from Timeslip’s recommendations.
The House Without a Key by Earl Derr Biggers
Thoroughly enjoyed this murder mystery set in Hawaii and the first in the Charlie Chan series. This is the first novel I’ve read set in Hawaii. Biggers has a very witty turn of phrase that I enjoyed immensely.
Kumo, our 10 mo old Akita
Curious about everything and generally loving life.
Good old Kiwi Ginger Crunch
This was my favourite as a child and it’s still excellent, although sometimes I double the ginger for an extra kick!
