Display stuff (and use the stuff) from your childhood

This only works if you still got it. Well, I bet you could buy some of it off EBay! Anyway, this Disney Princess TV was my fave companion as a kid. I watched Twilight on her in my Limited Too purple saucer chair. And nowwww she lives full time in my house! Whenever I’m feeling burnt out and in need of some nostalgia, I pop in a DVD and settle in. It’s so fun to paint, collage, or even organize while watching.

Avoid talking about new project ideas

Telling friends and family that know you is the first dopamine hit. And once that hit is gone, so is the project. Instead, save the telling until the project is finished/at least has progress so you have motivation in the right place to keep going.
