Emma Bridgewater Tea Towels

I just love emma's designs, and the tea towels specifically are so sweet. The fabric is also sturdy, and these last me years. I have stacks of them that we fly through every day for hand wiping, pot drying, wiping up spills. How cute are these farm animals?

Aga Range

Where do I even start... My Aga is like my third child. Perfect to snuggle with on a cool (or cold, this is New England!) morning. Having an Aga is not just having a stove or range, it's a way of life. The style of cooking - not exact, a little bit of an experiment - is so me, I don't think I could ever go back to a normal stove. Also, never having to remember to pre heat is a plus for me. Part radiator, part stove, part range, part of our family.

Spode Gloucester Blue Plates

My dinner ware was passed down to me by my grandparents, and we live with it. I love the pattern on these plates, which are perfect for every day, but also give a little something to a tablescape if that's what you're doing. But the thing that sold me, and prompted me to recommend, is that these things are indestructable. They are in and out of the dishwasher, they are used for couch and floor picnics, the kids use them, my husband slams them around, and I tell you in the 7 years we've had them - not a chip.
