It Was Just an Accident (2025) | Jafar Panahi
i think about the last 5 minutes of this film every single day
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) | Mike Nichols
After seeing this on like every top narrative list for years, I finally watched it tonight. Dare I say: this feels edgy in 2026. I canβt really think of many writers today who do this kind of biting humor along with the raw, sincere emotion. Maybe Tracy Letts? Anyway, Elizabeth Taylor is so goddamn brilliant in every frame. βI am mother Earth, and you are all flops.β Worth the wait. Rating: π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯
Pieces of April (2003) | Peter Hedges
accurate depiction of having neighbors in NYC. the ultimate feel-good film. sobbed at the end. Rating πππππ
Perfect Days (2013) | Wim Wenders
I loved it so much that I watched it two nights in a row. Every moment is beautiful, though thereβs a feeling that itβs only beautiful because it hadnβt always been. rating πππππ
