how do you put into words the feeling of going to a bakery near your house and realizing immediately it is as good as the bakeries you visited in Copenhagen??? possibly heaven meeting earth in a moment but I digress. go go go, get the purple sourdough and the tomato cheese croissant and the chocolate chip cookies… and maybe everything else too

quiet and peaceful and a bike ride away from the valley’s many fancy chateaus!! incredible spa experience. walking around here felt so luxurious let alone the rooms and meals and atmosphere, all soooo romantic and full of light! not a lot of Americans on property when we visited so we felt cool like we found a hidden gem 😅

porridge loaf (maybe it’s called honey oat bread?) is divine but so is the coffee cake, the entire breakfast/lunch/dinner menu, the patio, the spacious breezy interior. on I could wax, my only sadness is I’m a full hour drive but it’s worth the trek <3
