Verveine d'Été - The Sparkling One - Eau de Parfum

Last summer I went to a retreat in Maine that very much felt like adult summer camp (in a good way). There, one of my new camp friends handed me a mosquito repellent bracelet, coiled and plastic like those hairbands that are meant to not leave a crease, and smelling like you would expect a mosquito repellent bracelet to smell. I loved it. Maybe I just like the smell of citronella but I think the Maine forest surroundings really added something to the mix. When I got home I wanted to keep wearing the bracelets, but I started searching for a citronella-adjacent scent instead and this is the one I chose. Maybe will post some of the runners up?

Today I accidentally showed up to a client meeting wearing this shirt and my coworkers had to turn their cameras off bc they were cry-laughing at what an idiot I am. Derek Erdman is an artist and a genius though. You should buy one of his paintings but if you can’t afford them then buy a shirt. Guaranteed to delight.

I bought my friends a few of these and used them to decorate the wrapping of their Christmas presents. Big hit tbh!
