A Thursday Murder Club Mystery (Richard Osman)
Wholesome “who-done-it” series where a group of 70+ year olds solve murder mysteries while navigating aging, making community, and new technologies. Humorously challenges our biases on what older folks are capable of.
Rescue a dog (or 2 or 3)
Snuggles, companionship, and they make you go out in nature on walks and move your body. They are big goofs that will make you laugh and be present in the moment. Plus you’re literally saving their life!
Your company
Offer to be a safe space to talk about their journey, or to do literally anything else; let them lead once you’ve offered that space. Letting them know you’re thinking of them without expectation of responding. Offering to just be around and watch a show together. Ordering dinner for them to try and take things off their mental load. They’re lucky to have you as a thoughtful friend, sending them hugs ❤️
