Funny Face Wedding dress
I didn't fantasize about my wedding as a child much, but I did obsess about every Audrey Hepburn outfit I could lay my eyes on. Growing up I imagined if I ever got married I would probably wear this dress from Funny Face, specifically with the hooded veil. Even as an adult I still love this dress and seriously considered recreating it myself. Ultimately, it's a costume, so I came to my senses but this dress will always be the most "wedding dress" of all wedding to me.
vintage christian lacroix skirt suit
Briefly, we thought we might have a small courthouse ceremony before the full wedding and I became obsessed with the idea of wearing a skirt suit to complete the Biznezz of getting wed. I actually bought the one pictured but in classic realreal fashion, the sizing was a total lie. In the end we didn't do the courthouse so all the better i returned it! But I loved the sailor collar and 3/4 sleeves on this. eBay has a very similar version in my actual size now. C'est la vie!
vintage Mandalay Dress
In my wedding dress search I came across the designer Mandalay and instantly started crushing. All of their dresses look like something a bond girl would wear to the casino to bait the villain. All are tight, plunging and covered in embellishments but against all odds manage to keep a touch of classy lady. If I had a Vegas wedding I would definitely be walking into that little white chapel in one of these numbers.

I wanted her so bad...but fate decided it was not to be. This sunshine was snatched off realreal before I could commit. I still think about her though....
