Tarot at the Morgan
While I was reading the copy for this exhibition I sighed so loudly that my bf asked from across the room, "what are you sighing about?" The Morgan was the first museum I visited when I moved to NYC in 2014. (That exhibition was about The Little Prince – the Morgan holds the original manuscript and drawings.) I moved away from the city in May this year, that's what this list is about.
Leonora Carrington's Sculptures
The last time I went to an exhibition of Carrington's work (in 2019 at Gallery Wendi Norris, I just looked it up) another women approached the door at the exact same moment I did. Summer Soft Serve at Hani's
NYC is filthy with hype bakeries, Hani's is worth the line. I wish I could try this particular offering: black sesame cherry pav. Extra credit for abbreviating pavlova exactly as we do in Australia. I moved away from the city in May this year, that's what this list is about.
