There are stories of Simon Joyner as a "songwriter’s songwriter"—influencing artists like Conor Oberst, Gillian Welch, and Will Oldham. I didn't know that. It was in a Reservation Dogs episode ("Aho!") and it got...under my skin (yikes, but I'm not deleting it).
