Iris Malikhân

Starting off with what I think might be the most masterfully blended fragrance in history. It’s the closest thing I’ve ever found to real life witch craft. Starts out super green and bright, transforms to a gorgeous powdery iris, and ends as the richest not too sweet vanilla imaginable. It is true perfection in my book.

Tierra Maya

I spent the winter searching for my ideal chai tea fragrance. I kind of struggle with tea fragrances so it’s not entirely surprising that the one I landed on has no actual tea note but this rose cardamom masterpiece is spicy and creamy and gives me the same feeling that drinking a perfect chai tea with a splash of milk gives me without being the photorealistic chai I thought I was looking for.

House

I have been so wildly impressed with the somewhat new house of Zernell Gillie. They all perfectly toe the line of unique and crowd pleasing. House is my current love and I am waiting with bated breath for it to finally show up at my door. I’m a sucker for a raspberry note and this comes in hot with one. There’s something almost metallic about it at the top but the oud and tonka anchor it beautifully and it transforms into a fruity creamy dream. I don’t know if the rest of the world would agree that this is daily driver material but it’s not too loud, can transition from day to night easily, and is mass appealing without losing its unique edge.

Burberry Brit

I hesitate to even post this because it’s my secret weapon but then I remembered absolutely no one follows this account so I’m just shouting into the ether. Burberry Brit was the seminal scent of my fragrance journey. Worn consistently throughout my middle school years, this is just as perfect then as it is now and has somehow avoided the curse of the bastardizing reformulation that so many of my past loves have. When I finally revisited this scent last year I was blown away by the fact that the very first scent I ever loved is this timeless. It’s incredibly affordable and perfect in any weather. I will never be without her again.
