Flighty App
The most amazing flight tracking app. I'm usually notified about things in this app before I hear from the airline (like gate changes and delays). I can see the whole path of my inbound flight and where it currently is. I can also see tower/ground crew info to understand why flights might be grounded. While everyone else in the plane is saying "what's going on" you will know.
OpenSnow App
The name can be misleading but this one of the more advanced weather apps that was developed right here in Colorado by meteorologists. Obviously it's great for snow forecasts, but there is so much more, including some proprietary prediction/analysis models. Extremely detailed stats and forecasts along with many map overlays for smoke, active wildfires, air quality and even forecasts for autumn colors.
TickTick App
I've tried just about every to do list app out there and this one is by far the best. Collaborate on lists, customize notifications for different lists, kanban boards and timelines that are great for house projects. Also the most advanced recurring notifications I've found. Want to be reminded about street sweeping the night before every second Wednesday of the month Apr-Oct? Here you go.
Slopes App
The absolute best ski/snowboard tracking app. I met the developer and got the secret stealth pin. ;)
