the rest is science podcast
I have watched Vsauce for years, and with new videos fewer and far between, this podcast has been an absolute delight. I love listening to two brilliant people nerd out, it makes me inspired to keep learning new things and remember that math is fun even when grad school is a slog!

Mochidoki Passion Fruit Mochi Ice Cream
Found these at my local H Mart at the end of the fall semester. I didn't even realize they are vegan. They are absolutely divine-- chewy, creamy, tangy. Whenever I want a sweet treat, these are top of the list.

TAUKO Indie Sewing Magazine
I found this indie fashion and sewing magazine through my library's Libby, and am obsessed. The photography is beautiful, and each edition comes with free downloadable patterns and sewing instructions. Unlike some magazines, I am genuinely impressed with the curation of designs and artist collaborators and find the pieces beautiful and wearable. Instead of ordering clothes from a magazine, if you see something you like, you can make it yourself and adapt the pattern to make a custom garment!

cleo’s craft happy hour bk
I love going here when I have a spare evening on the weekends, I always have the most lovely conversations with fellow fiber artists. They say that third spaces are dying, but places like Cleo’s are fighting to stop it!
