A large mug for tea and snacks
I’m not sure where I’d be without my morning cup of tea! This mug is perfect when working from home. It doubles as a mug and a bowl for my oatmeal/cereal. I bought my mug from a store called T2 (they are AU/NZ based only) but you can find large mugs almost anywhere these days. Keep an eye out for local markets because there may be someone there who makes and sells them!
Yoga in the sun
This is Jasper. I think this is his shavasana pose? If you’re a work from home girlie like me, it’s nice to carve out some time when the sun is shining through the window and stretch. I love yin yoga because it’s slower than flow and I have time to find a comfortable position. Couldn’t find a link to my yoga mat but I found something similar. Mine is reversible and good for bad knees.
Aromatherapy to calm the mind
My go-to aromatherapy kit. They have a wide range of essential oils and I bought a stand to hold the ones I use the most. Anxiety Aid is my favourite oil because it has a beautiful scent and helps calm me on those days when I’m feeling really unsettled. They also have a great collection for babies and children. The diffuser is wireless and portable but I also have another diffuser on my nightstand.
Self care activity book (with colouring!)
Because who doesn’t love a bit of adult colouring? 🤭 No really… between that and embroidery, it has been really therapeutic. I’ve had really bad anxiety lately triggered by a recent loss and this book has helped me focus in on myself. It really gets the brain ticking and allows me time for self reflection. I found this one on special for $10 but there are many different ones out there. I am using colour pencils instead of markers because they bleed through the paper.
