I don’t know if I can actually recommend the museum, but this website for exploring ALL THE MUGS is amazing. I’ve never felt quite so excited to explore a museum’s online collection.

Los Angeles area histories sublimated through the elements of earth, water, air, and fire. A great collection of essays full of tendrils connecting past to present, nature to culture, and LAs peculiarities to the wider world. My copy has soooo many sticky notes in it.

Epiblast (Naná Rizinni)

New album by London-based Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Naná Rizinni grabbed me by the ear on my first listen and has yet to let go. Atmospheric, jazzy, multilayered, but still with a clear direction and purpose to each song. Gonna be in my rotation for a while.
