Hotel San Cristobal Todos Santos
The most beautiful hotel. My happy place is sitting here in a chair at sunset, wrapped in a blanket, sipping a glass of wine, the ocean waves crashing, and the scent of santal in the air. Splurge on an ocean view room if you can.

Secret Stairs: A Walking Guide to the Historic Staircases of Los Angeles
42 (mostly) delightful walks that vary in difficulty and connect staircases in LA. Perfect way to explore pockets of the city you probably wouldn’t otherwise while learning from the informative and sometimes snarky words of Fleming.

Silhouettes of my cats
I’m not someone who wants a bunch of cat stuff on display just because I have cats. But I made an exception for these. My dear friend (who is also an animator for the Simpsons) has a side gig doing custom silhouettes. She did these of my cats for me. She’s also done my human loves in the form of my niece and nephews.

Vroman’s Bookstore
Pasadena institution, love checking out staff picks, frequent author visits, plus an actual newsstand
