Incense Crush by D'ORSAY
I bought myself Incense Crush as a bday gift in December 2024. Only started wearing it more often in October of last year, but I’ve become so addicted to it. The sandalwood base note is perfect IMO and the spices and smokiness are really sexy. I get a ton of compliments and it lasts forever on me.
Subvert FM, a cooperatively owned streaming platform.
Subvert FM is a cooperatively-owned alternative music streaming service that just launched to the public. Subvert is attempting to compete with platforms like Bandcamp with a much more equitable model for artists. I had the pleasure of joining and setting up an artist page before launch. My music, as well as a bunch of really exciting artists are using it. If you’re aware of the huge downsides for artists on the major streaming platforms, I highly recommend Subvert.
Le Labo Tabac 28
Tabac 28 is the Miami city-exclusive fragrance, and although I’ve never been to Miami, I wear this one all the time in NYC. It’s Smokey, leathery, and woodsy with that sweet and tangy tobacco smell throughout. The bonus notes I get that aren’t really in it: rice and raisins. Another bonus is that I shmoozed my way into using an employee’s discount on my 50mL bottle after finishing the 15mL.
