I went on a deep dive on this topic recently…wanted something natural, dries easily, exfoliant. Bonus, I was able to find shops on Etsy that are native-owned and sustainably sourced. I love it so far.

Doorstop drop!
The most memorable thing for me was when friends would drop surprise items at my doorstep with a simple text to let me know it was outside! One was a basket including chicken soup, fresh baked bread, self care items, a knit baby hat and a thoughtful sweet note (if they’re super good on meals, even just bread and jam is a great staple). Another, a smoothie in the middle of summer. Another, fresh baked cookies. An iced coffee with a card. There is something so special about a no strings attached, ultra convenient gift for a new mom - it feels selfless without expectations, especially when you’re deep in your own inner world and might not be ready for a visit.
