fotoautomat in montmartre
Authentic analog booth from the 1960s, only €6. Long line occasionally but worth it as there are only 50 of these cameras left in the world, and in the sweetest area of Paris in my opinion, Montmartre.
le relais de lentrecôte
Two portions of steak frites - cooked how you want served by waitresses in the perfect French uniform. Get a Coca Cola and a glass of wine. Perfect first night, jet lagged meal.
maison gainsbourg
One of my favorite things I did. Intimate tour of Serge Gainsbourg’s house where he famously lived with Jane Birkin - audio guided but Charlotte Gainsbourg. Super emotional and fascinating look into his life. No photos allowed. There’s also a museum next door with a bar, Gainsbarre which was his drunken alter ego.
lara koleji
Unique, eccentric vintage in the lower east side. I always find the things I never knew I needed, and spending way too much money in the process. But never regretting…in fact, regretting not buying. This Pucci swimsuit I didn’t purchase and I forever think back to and wish I had.
