The joy of a new ring for no reason

I finished speaking at a work conference on a gorgeous, sunny Tuesday in Boston — my first time to the city. As I’m strolling back to my hotel to change into comfier clothes (and rip a few eps of Forensic Files), I spy a little sidewalk sale of pottery and jewelry, outside of Rainbows Pottery Studio. I said yes to this chunky sterling guy & it’s been bringing me a lot of joy. Spontaneous jewelry purchases do that sometimes.

Cuyana tall easy zipper tote

Love this bag. I had a surprisingly difficult time finding a cute leather tote with a zipper - this is it. Can easily carry my MacBook, water bottle, purse, chargers, book, etc. Perfect airplane bag, too. I haven’t done this yet, but you can buy additional inserts and pouches from Cuyana for more organization.

Pilcro bermudas

I live in these now. Gone are the days of squeezing into tiny shorts that ride up your arse crack. These Pilcros are the comfiest ever, and they widen at the bottom which avoids that jean short biker short look for my fellow girls with thighs.

My trumpet vine went crazy this summer — after two modest years of barely a leaf to show for its growth. I can’t wait to see it pop off again next year. Maybe it’ll eat my whole fence 🥰
