I think this series has a lot to recommend it, if you like elaborate heists, shady bars where crooks connect, characters like Pepper and Ray Carney. Tempted to start the whole series again once I finish this book.

It began with a voice note. From Holt to the Russell brothers, of Overmono fame. It contained a memory of Holt’s older brother, and the loss that reverberates still. Together they made a thinking person’s dance banger.
