Lee Valley Chef’s Knife
This is a very solid knife that isn’t at all precious. It sharpens well. It does the job. You don’t have to hover over someone while they use it in case they don’t dry it or something.

Using face cloths once
Having a stack of face cloths makes me feel like I have my life together. Also, they’re always fresh and I never wonder if it’s time to wash them. Generally I try to just have the amount of any one thing that I actually need, but it turns out I need about 30 plain white face cloths.
