I never follow recipes religiously (especially because I'm constantly making non-vegan recipes vegan) but I've made and loved versions of a number of Joe's recipes from this book. I love his approach to food, it's simple and herbaceous and veg-forward. Favourites so far are the bobby beans vinaigrette with cheesy mash, bobby beans with smashed roasted tomatoes, roasted tomatoes with egg mayo, and Andrew's garlic mushrooms.

I love, love, love this quiet little movie about being a kid with a big internal universe observing and trying desperately to understand the world of adults happening around you. I simply cannot describe how visually and aurally beautiful it is, AND it’s funny, see: Wouldn’t you rather be hanging out with your friends? I don’t have any friends. Why? I don’t know, it’s a complete mystery to me.
