Matcha Cake

This recipe is on repeat at our house. I’ve made it for birthdays, for an annual soup party, and just for fun. I’ve also been able to easily modify it to be dairy free, and it always turns out well. I make it as a sheet cake and then cut into rectangles to make the layers. :)

Shakshuka + crusty bread

I like that you can make the veggie/sauce base ahead of time and reheat. So you could reheat, poach your egg, and eat within a short amount of time. Warm, savory, full of fiber and protein! And crusty bread brings it all together :)

I enjoyed a lovely morning of co-working with friends at Backstory Coffee Roasters this week. The weather was perfect to sit out on the back patio under the shade. The Maple Standard cold brew was a delight to sip on throughout the morning.
